Pezhman Seifkhani dominates as Sam Svensson shines in professional debut at FL-20 Homecoming

Fightlife Promotion delivered an exciting night of boxing at FL-20 “Homecoming” at Tegelbruket in Örebro, Sweden, as heavyweight contender Pezhman “King Kong” Seifkhani returned to winning ways and rising Swedish prospect Sam Svensson celebrated a successful professional debut.

With an enthusiastic home crowd creating an electric atmosphere, both Fightlife fighters delivered impressive performances and secured unanimous decision victories.

Pezhman “King Kong” Seifkhani returns with a dominant victory

Swedish heavyweight Pezhman “King Kong” Seifkhani (18-2, 12 KOs) made a successful return to the ring, defeating Finland’s tough and determined Petri Pyykönen (3-2) over six action-packed rounds.

Seifkhani controlled the contest with superior punching accuracy, work rate and offensive pressure. Despite facing a resilient opponent who constantly pushed forward and attempted to neutralize his power through close-range fighting, the Swedish heavyweight remained in command throughout the bout.

Pyykönen, guided by experienced coach Markku Pirinen, showed tremendous determination and durability, surviving all six rounds against one of Sweden’s most powerful heavyweights.

Although the knockout never came, Seifkhani demonstrated his ability to adapt, maintain his composure and dominate a physically demanding contest.

All three judges scored the fight 60-54, awarding Seifkhani every round and a convincing unanimous decision victory.

With Kamran Kabinejad and Tonton Semakala in his corner, Seifkhani delivered an important comeback performance and took another step towards his ambitions of competing for major European and international heavyweight titles.

The King Kong is back, and the journey towards the top continues!

Sam Svensson makes an impressive professional debut

One of the evening’s highlights was the professional debut of 24-year-old Swedish prospect Sam Svensson, who faced a challenging opponent in Italy’s Francesco Cela.

Rather than choosing an easy introduction to professional boxing, Svensson stepped into the ring against a tall, technically capable and determined Italian fighter.

What followed was an intense four-round battle filled with relentless pressure, exciting exchanges and tremendous fighting spirit from both men.

Svensson impressed the crowd with his aggressive approach, physical strength and determination. Constantly moving forward, he successfully closed the distance against his taller opponent and dictated much of the action at close range.

Despite the demanding pace, the Swedish newcomer maintained his intensity throughout all four rounds, demonstrating impressive conditioning and mental toughness.

Supported by his coaches Kamran Kabinejad and Felix Lundström, Svensson secured a convincing unanimous decision victory, with all three judges scoring the contest 40-36.

The victory gives Svensson a perfect start to his professional career with a record of 1-0.

Facing a competitive opponent in his very first professional appearance made the performance even more impressive.

A new chapter has begun for Sam Svensson, and Fightlife Promotion looks forward to developing this exciting Swedish talent on the professional stage.

A successful homecoming for Fightlife Promotion

FL-20 “Homecoming” brought together professional and amateur boxing in Örebro, showcasing talented fighters from Sweden, Finland and Italy.

The event attracted an enthusiastic crowd and created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening.

Former world champion Patricia Berghult was also present at ringside supporting her teammates. Unfortunately, her scheduled comeback fight was cancelled at short notice due to circumstances beyond Fightlife Promotion’s control.

Despite this disappointment, the event delivered an entertaining evening of competitive boxing and memorable performances.

Several well-known figures from Swedish boxing attended the event, including Swedish Boxing Federation representative Anders Holmberg, undefeated professional Paolo Magui, former national team boxers Håkan Sindemark and Babacar Kamara, and professional boxer Lorens Ottosson.

Fightlife Promotion would like to express its sincere gratitude to all fighters, coaches, officials, volunteers, sponsors and supporters who contributed to making FL-20 “Homecoming” a successful event.

A special thank you goes to Tegelbruket and everyone working behind the scenes to make this evening possible.

Two fights. Two victories. One unforgettable homecoming.

The journey continues.
